10 Pepsi Commercials That Were So Good We Almost Gave Up Drinking Coke

YouTube

If there is one company who used to do a good job of making iconic commercials, it's Pepsi. They have always put a lot of effort into making their commercials memorable and usually they succeed. They might not be as good as they used to, but throughout the 90s and early 2000s they were the best.

The fact is, they used a lot of famous songs and famous faces to help attract their customers' attentions and over the years it has had varying success. Some of their commercials have been pretty memorable, and we are going to look back at the best of the best.

Hailey Eisenberg's set of movie spoofs

Whether she was giving epic speeches, or reenacting The Godfather, this little girl's face was everywhere. She had a bunch of different commercials, each of them based around the fact that this little girl hated Coke and would only drink Pepsi.

The best one was probably the team up between her and Aretha Franklin where she sang the Pepsi theme song.

David Bowie and Tina Turner

David Bowie builds the perfect woman, AKA Tina Turner, and then they go dance in front of of an exploding Pepsi sign. It sounds ridiculous, and that's because it is.

Michael Jackson

'The Pepsi Generation' is a reimagining of 'Billie Jean', but this time it's all about Pepsi. Jackson surprises some kids who are dancing in the street and it's actually pretty cute!

Spice Girls

They turned a commercial into a whole song because The Spice Girls can turn anything into a catchy tune!

Britney Spears

Britney Spears has a whole bunch of Pepsi commercials, but in this one she essentially hypnotizes a poor guy who is just trying to cook some burgers. It was also during the time when Pepsi was making full length music videos for all their commercials, and honestly we weren't complaining.

Commercials just aren't as good as they used to be! There are still so may more epic ones we all remember...

Britney Spears Again - Through Time

This commercial takes Britney on a journey through time. We get to see what Britney would have been like from 1958 in a soda shoppe, all the way through to the Millennium and it's all pretty awesome.

Cindy Crawford

Super model Cindy Crawford was THE it-girl at one point, so really all she needed to do was drink from a can of Pepsi and people were sold. The whole joke is that the boys staring at her are only doing so for the can.

Janet Jackson and Ricky Martin

They were at one time huge stars, so by combining them apparently Pepsi thought it would be great!

Pink, Beyonce, Britney Spears & Enrique Iglesias

By far the best commercial Pepsi ever made. Not only did they get three of the biggest stars to team up against another one of the biggest stars, but had them singing a Queen song. The costumes and sets involved were also pretty impressive for a commercial. It'll never get old, it's always awesome.
