Some toys are forgotten immediately after we received them as kids, but others stick in your mind for all time. If you were a kid in the 80s or 90s, chances are you had at least a few toys that were made by Little Tikes and you remember them to this day.
Unlike some of the highly breakable and forgettable toys, these hard plastic items were almost like a piece of furniture in our homes. They lasted forever, they were used constantly, and they meant a lot to us!
How many Little Tikes items did you have in your house? Check out the list below to see if any of them look familiar.
1. Red and Yellow Car
Your childhood didn’t feel complete until you drove one of these bad boys around the block. these made such an impression on kids that some people have even built adult sized versions of this car!
2. Washer and Dryer Set
When we were kids, all we wanted was to grow up and get to do fun grown up things like laundry. Now it is my literal least favorite thing the do.
3. Toy Chest
There was pretty much one in every house and daycare right? They where so great because they were sturdy enough to sit on while you played with your toys.
4. Picinic Table
Picnics just aren’t the same when the table isn’t bright yellow…
5. Vanity Set
Kids had a lot of beauty prep to do before heading off to preschool.
6. Kitchen Set
I had one of these when I was a kid and I was OBSESSED with it. Trying to get me to cook these days is the worst. It was so much easier when everything was made of plastic…
Having your own playhouse was the absolute best thing in the world. Maybe it’s why we are all so interested in tiny houses now? It feels nostalgic!
There are even more amazing toys you absolutely remember on the next page!
Whether you were using the chalkboard side or the side that held up paper, these were the best and most useful toy we had. So many hours spent playing with this!
9. Golf Set
You gotta start somewhere if you want to be a golf champ!
10. Tiny Pool
Everyone’s first little tiny water slide!
11. Coffee Maker
Because what every 4-year-old needs is caffeine?
12. Turtle Sandbox
Does anyone else remember the edges of this getting super warm in the summer?
13. Toy Bench
The best place to sit when brushing your Barbie’s hair.
14. Castle Playhouse
This was one of the coolest things out there that we all dreamed of having.
15. Doll Stroller and Bed
Where else would your Cabbage Patch Kid live?
16. Play set with Slide
It feels like there was one of these in every kindergarten classroom.
17. The Blue House
These were the ultimate toys. It was super weird to have your doll house be filled with all the same furniture that you had. Their little kitchen, their little picnic table, pretty much everything was sold in the bigger size so kids could have a matching set.
18. Grandma’s House
So these houses had a few versions. The original blue house which was the family, this pink one which came with the Grandparents and also the farm.
19. The Farm
The horses were shaped a little weird so the people could ride on them, but it was super fun for those horse-obsessed kids!
20. Little People
