7 Completely Ridiculous 90s Movies You Forgot Existed

Not every movie is going to be a box office smash, that is just the rule of numbers. If all of them are winners, are any of them really? Well, some of the movies that came out in the 90s were winners in one way: they had the most unusual plots imaginable.

Sure, they still have that nostalgic and hilarious cult classic feel, but they are absolutely some of the weirdest concepts imaginable. You've got basketball star genies, a pregnant man, a dinosaur cop and a whole lot more to look forward to.

Did you see any of these movies when you were younger?

1. Theodore Rex

No, this is a not a movie where a person just has the name Rex, it is a literal T-Rex. That's right, this classic 1995 film with a whopping 2.4 stars (out of 10) on IMDB, Whoopi Golgberg plays a futuristic cop who teams up with a dinosaur to find a mad scientist. Sounds like a great movie right?

2. Junior

Because you didn't realize you wanted to watch a movie about a pregnant Arnold Schwarzenegger until they made this. It also reunites Schwarzenegger with his Twins costar Danny DeVito and they are joined by one and only Emma Thompson so it's got to be good right?

3. Chairman of the Board

Who knew you could watch a whole movie staring Carrot Top... Did anyone want that? Well in this movie he plays a surfer/inventor who takes over a company when it is left to him by a wealthy friend. It has a whopping 2.3 stars so maybe it's just for very particular tastes.

There are even more ridiculous movies to remember...

4. Baby Geniuses

I can only imagine that the process for making this movie was an absolute nightmare. So many babies involved I would expect it would be an absolute train wreck. Essentially the movie revolves around a baby who escapes a lab and frees the other babies from a scientist who was testing on them. Makes sense... Right?

5. Kazaam

So this movie kicks off with a kid being robbed, then he finds a genie who happens to be basketball super star, Shaquile O'Neil. Shaq is a powerful genie named Kazaam and must grant this boy three wishes. I guess putting basketball stars in movies was just the cool thing to do in the 90s?

6. Ed

Because what do you do when your star is on the rise from being on one of the biggest sitcoms of all time? Obviously it's star in a movie about a baseball playing monkey. I know that's what I would do. Matt LeBlanc (AKA Joey from Friends) plays a pitcher who gets an unlikely teammate who helps him become the best of the best.

7. The Beautician and the Beast

Okay so the plot of this movie is alarmingly similar to the plot of her TV show, but let's just go with it I guess. Fran Drescher plays a beautician is mistaken as a nanny/teacher, except instead of it being a rich Manhattan man, its a Eastern European dictator. Apparently she goes to his country and no one does a background check?

Share with your friends to see if they remember all these ridiculous movies!

A Behind-The-Scenes Look At The New Aladdin Is Here And At Least One Of Our Wishes Was Granted

We've been waiting patiently, okay mostly patiently, since Disney announced that Aladdin was being remade. The cartoon remains one of the most iconic movies of all time, and the fact that they were going to try and bring it to life with real humans instead of the animated versions was kind of concerning. We saw the first trailer a while ago, but the only character we actually saw up close was Aladdin himself. We didn't see how the Genie looked, or Jasmine, or any of the other characters. But now, Entertainment Weekly has given us all the first look at

Tim Allen Reveals The Original Plan For 'The Santa Clause' Was Way Too Dark For Disney

We've all seen The Santa Clause at least a dozen times, right? It's a Christmas classic and ever since it was released, it has become a staple in our holiday movie schedule. There's something about the movie that manages to keep that Christmas feeling without being way too over the top or corny. I mean, sure, Tim Allen literally becomes Santa, but somehow it all feels like that's totally plausible. The sequels may not have the same realistic feeling, but the original remains iconic. However, Allen just revealed that the original plan for the movie was a lot darker than
