8 Questions We All Have About The Movie 'Casper'

Universal Pictures

Casper was one of the best movies from our childhood. It was spooky enough without being too scary, and it made us all want to believe in ghosts. How cool would it be to have a little ghost friend who could help you out when you need them?

Universal Pictures

The movie was really one of a kind, it did a lot of things that other movies hadn't yet done which probably helped make it feel as special as it did. Even though the movie was obviously amazing, there are still a few things that happen in it that are really confusing. Let's look at some of the biggest questions we still have about this 90s classic.

Who are Fatso, Stinky and Stretch?

Universal Pictures

Obviously we find out that Casper used to live in this house, but what about the other guys? Are they just weird ghouls that showed up when they realized there was a scared 8-year-old boy alone in this big house?

Who is going to pay Kat's father now that Carrigan died?

Universal Pictures

Kat and her dad are apparently in financial trouble which is why he took this job and this house in the first place, but now that she's gone do they just keep the house?

How does Carrigan still remember everything?

Universal Pictures

Why is it that when Kat's dad dies he can't remember his own child, but when Carrigan dies she still remembers that she is evil and awful?

Casper's ability to interact with things is VERY inconsistent

Universal Pictures

One minute he is restraining Kat so she can't scream, then he is making her fly, and then when he tries to just touch her hand he goes right through it. So which is it?

I still have more questions that this movie left unanswered...

Did Casper drive his dad crazy on purpose?

Universal Pictures

They say that his dad was institutionalized because he was seeing his son's ghost, but does that mean Casper was tormenting him? That's not a very friendly thing to do...

How long did that machine take to build?

Universal Pictures

Okay so while it seems like it would be nice to have a machine that washed your hair and got you dressed, I feel like it would have taken so much time to build it would not have been worth it.

Why didn't Kat's mom let Casper be a real kid for longer?

Universal Pictures

One song is about three minutes long and he spends about half of that making a dramatic entrance down a staircase. She could have at least let him have half an hour to go dance with her daughter?

If he was eight when he died, why did he come back as a teen?

Universal Pictures

Ghosts don't age do they? It would be really weird if they did...

Universal Pictures

Even though this movie makes almost no sense, it's still amazing. Casper was the coolest little friendly ghost that we all wished would crash our Halloween parties when we were young.

A Behind-The-Scenes Look At The New Aladdin Is Here And At Least One Of Our Wishes Was Granted

We've been waiting patiently, okay mostly patiently, since Disney announced that Aladdin was being remade. The cartoon remains one of the most iconic movies of all time, and the fact that they were going to try and bring it to life with real humans instead of the animated versions was kind of concerning. We saw the first trailer a while ago, but the only character we actually saw up close was Aladdin himself. We didn't see how the Genie looked, or Jasmine, or any of the other characters. But now, Entertainment Weekly has given us all the first look at

Tim Allen Reveals The Original Plan For 'The Santa Clause' Was Way Too Dark For Disney

We've all seen The Santa Clause at least a dozen times, right? It's a Christmas classic and ever since it was released, it has become a staple in our holiday movie schedule. There's something about the movie that manages to keep that Christmas feeling without being way too over the top or corny. I mean, sure, Tim Allen literally becomes Santa, but somehow it all feels like that's totally plausible. The sequels may not have the same realistic feeling, but the original remains iconic. However, Allen just revealed that the original plan for the movie was a lot darker than
