The "Dumb And Dumber" Mini Bike Is On Sale But You Can't Trade Your Van For It

It was nearly twenty-four years ago that Dumb and Dumber debuted and we got to watch Lloyd Christmas (Jim Carrey) and Harry Dunne (Jeff Daniels), two dim-witted but well-meaning friends, set out on a cross-country trip to Aspen, Colorado to return a briefcase filled with money that they assumed was mistakenly abandoned.

A series of mishaps forced the pair to make some interesting and questionable choices, including trading their van for a minibike.

In case you needed a reminder, here's the scene where Lloyd picks up Harry with the "hog" and they finally make it to their destination:

Apparently, two of these mini bikes were made for the 1994 film - one is at Planet Hollywood in Las Vegas and the other had been sitting in storage in Gold Beach, Oregan all these years.

Its owner has decided to finally get rid of it, and you now have the opportunity to trade your van for it. Well, sort of.

The iconic tiny bike has recently been listed for auction on eBay. The listing explains that this particular bike was used for closeup shots, and although it is running properly, it has not been registered, so it was never ridden since it was taken off set.

"This one of only two existing mini bikes that were made for the original classic comedy Dumb and Dumber back in 1994 by the now late Sydney J. Barholomew (also designed the Mutt Cutt's Van, bicycle set for Pee Wee's Playhouse, etc)," read the listing.

The mini bike was acquired by its current owner, TommyB211, from the film's transportation coordinator, Gordie Merrick, who was gifted with the vehicle by the Farrelly brothers, Dumb and Dumber's writers.

TommyB211, who resides in Houston, Texas, spent over a year restoring the bike so whoever purchases it may be able to get at least "70 miles to the gallon on this hog."

According to TMZ, the seller is saving up funds to send his kid to college, so the starting bid for the bike is pretty high at $8,500.

However, as a bonus, you will also get a helmet, a bag and briefcase. Before you get too excited, you should know that these items aren't originals from the film. Additionally, the bike will come with a signed and notarized letter of authenticity.

You have until February 18 to place a bid, and you'll be happy to know that 10 percent of the money will go to the Best Friends Animal Society.

Would you bid on the mini bike?

Top 5 Movies Set in Las Vegas

There’s something about Las Vegas that has always made it a place of great fascination for filmmakers. One of the main reasons has to be the way it looks – quite unlike anywhere else on earth. With the flashing signs that can be picked out by orbiting spacecraft and the sheer investment that has gone into creating this amazing oasis in the heart of the Nevada Desert it’s a film set that’s already been built. The fact that it’s only a relatively short distance from Hollywood itself – an hour by plane – is also strongly in its favour

The Evolution of the NFL

The NFL may be the single biggest sports league in the world, but it’s been a long and winding route to reach this point. Many of the major changes that have brought us here have taken place in the last thirty years, but none of these could have happened without what had gone before. For example, while there are now 32 teams split between the National Football League and the American Football Conference, this division dates back to merger that occurred in 1970 between the NFL and its rival the American Football League. And, while there have been countless

Like when Dan Marino won the title of the best all-time passing leader. Or when Jerry Rice
