We All Used To Recognize Jonathan Lipnicki, But What Is He Up To Now?

He won our hearts in movies like Jerry Maguire, Like Mike, and Stuart Little, but a lot of people don't really know what happened to Jonathan Lipnicki. Even though he is still acting consistantly, the fact that he has grown up to look completely different than he used to means people don't realize who he is.

TriStar

He was only six years old when he was in Jerry Maguire and made us all fall in love with him. His performance was pretty iconic and he was basically a staple in the 90s and early 2000s.

Columbia Pictures

He decided to take a break from the Hollywood lifestyle and live his teenage years away from the spotlight. It makes sense, does anyone really want to deal with puberty in the public eye? I am sure they do not.

20th Century Fox

In his time away from the limelight he dealt with many issues, including depression and anxiety. He faced a lot of bullying from kids in school calling him "a has-been". Lipnicki spoke up about how hard it was to attend school after making these movies, even though he made the choice himself.

New Line Cinema

He said that "I was made to feel like garbage every day of middle school to the point where I had a panic attack every night before school, because I wondered how I would get through the next day."

He spoke out not to get pity, but instead to let people know that it gets better and to express that anxiety and depression didn't ruin his life. He was able to come back from all of that and be stronger than ever.

As he grew up, Lipnicki found ways to cope with his depression, including Brazilian jiu-jitsu which he has now achieved brown belt status.

He also survived high school with a semi-normal life, getting to go to his prom and high school graduation, but he has been back in movies for a while now! He has grown up a lot and is a bit hard to recognize, which is obviously completely normal because he is an adult and not a 6-year-old boy!

Recently he has been in a few TV shows, including MotherLover and Interns of F.I.E.L.D.. He also has done a lot of other guest spots and shorts, and has many independent projects set to come out this year.

In no way is he a has-been! He has been working consistently since he was 6, with a fairly short break to allow for high school (which we can all understand).

Ryan Caliendo, Pacific Coast News

He is a talented actor who got his start early but hasn't really let up at all! Chances are we will see a lot more of him over the coming years!

Would you be able to recognize him if you didn't know it was him?

A Behind-The-Scenes Look At The New Aladdin Is Here And At Least One Of Our Wishes Was Granted

We've been waiting patiently, okay mostly patiently, since Disney announced that Aladdin was being remade. The cartoon remains one of the most iconic movies of all time, and the fact that they were going to try and bring it to life with real humans instead of the animated versions was kind of concerning. We saw the first trailer a while ago, but the only character we actually saw up close was Aladdin himself. We didn't see how the Genie looked, or Jasmine, or any of the other characters. But now, Entertainment Weekly has given us all the first look at
