10 Romantic TV Couples That Will Warm Your Heart This Valentine's Day
The time of love is in the air, and it's times like these that we like to look back on some of our favorite couples from things we grew up watching. We're not talking about the ones that came and went; these are the ones that were either going to last forever, or if they did end, we openly wept and wondered how it could all go so wrong. Without further ado, here are the 10 best!
Cory and Topanga
If there was ever a greater example of a guy winning over a girl who was way, WAAAYYYYYY out of his league, I haven't found it yet. Cory and Topanga were somehow perfect for each other, even though we were never quite sure how they made it happen in the first place.
Al and Peg Bundy
Sure, they spent most of their time complaining about each other, and Al really did seem like he wanted an excuse to bitch about anything (no matter how good he had it), but at the end of the day, you could tell they really genuinely cared about each other. Not to mention they were one of the few TV couples that actually seemed to have a pretty active sex life.
Zack and Kelly
They were the IT couple for the entire series and we all knew it. Sure, Zack ended up dating practically everyone in the school at first, but in the end they became the envy of high school sweethearts everywhere when they got married. We wouldn't have had it any other way.
Uncle Jesse and Rebecca
These two make the list for basically being the ideal married couple. They weren't just cool and fun, but also full of romance and, most of all, supportive of each other's life and dreams. It doesn't get much more romantic than that.

Brenda and Dylan
This relationship was a whirlwind of passion, drama, and having to save each other multiple times. Between each of their personal struggles, they made us believe that true love could overcome anything.
Buffy and Angel
It's a tough call between this pairing or Buffy and Spike, but for our money, these two just complemented each other so well in the first two seasons that the standards were set super high from the get-go. That is, of course, until Angel reverted back to Angelus and made Buffy's life a living Hell, but hey, things got better!
Gomez and Morticia
A ghoulish couple that delighted in everything morbid, they were ready to entertain guests with a smile and a creepy allusion. Of course, what we saw most of all was their genuine love and affection for nobody else but each other, even after decades (or is it centuries?) of after-living together.
Chandler and Monica
Forget Ross and Rachel (AKA "Dumb and Boring"), this impossibly wacky pairing was the main couple worth a damn on Friends. Between Chandler's hilarious zaniness and Monica's anal-retentive and borderline bonkers personality, they were a match too impossibly funny to not work forever.
Jackie and Kelso
If you ever needed proof that opposites attract, just take a look at the pairing of snooty and bitchy Jackie, and Kelso, the biggest moron in Wisconsin. 90% of their relationship was the two of them fighting, and yet somehow their breakups always managed to be tragic. Hell, it's such a great pairing that the two actors have now been together for several years!
Homer and Marge
It takes a very, VERY patient woman to put up with a giant doofus like Homer Simpson, and thankfully, Marge is nothing if not patient. Sure, they've gone through some big ups and downs together, but at the end of the day they've always stuck things through. If that isn't love, I don't know what is.
