We Just Learned The Plot Of The New She-Ra Show And We Are So Ready For It

She-Ra was the Princess of Power, and she was the most powerful woman in the universe. It makes sense, given the fact that her long-lost twin brother was He-Man.

Together -  and separately -  these two characters became beloved by many and were the Masters of the Universe we all became obsessed with.

She-Ra, aka Princess Adora, was the female role model we so desperately needed when we were young. She was tough, she was strong, and she didn't take any crap from anyone.

She was granted the Sword of Protection, which gave her the ability to transform from Princess Adora into the awesome and excellent She-Ra, which meant that she could take out all the bad guys.

In a world where most superheros and powerful characters in kids shows were men, it was nice for us young ladies to have someone to look up to. Especially because she wasn't just a fighter, she was smart, always able to outsmart the enemy. But I mean, she could take down a bad guy if she needed to.

But now She-Ra is coming back to our TV, ready to inspire the next generation.

She's coming to Netflix

Netflix will be releasing a new series later this year that will once again bring She-Ra back to our screens.

Originally she was just intended to sell toys to girls, but she became an icon in her own right. Obviously the executives at Netflix realized this because they have decided to make us something new.

We haven't really seen what she's going to look like yet, but Netflix did release one single teaser image that has made us all a little antsy for more.

Who's in charge of the reboot?

Group W Productions

The remake will be run by Eisner Award-winning author Noelle Stevenson, who is known for the comic series Lumberjanes.

She has admitted that she wasn't familiar with the show when it was originally out (mostly because she was born after it aired) but she wishes she could have experienced it as a kid.

“I was always looking for the female characters in sci-fi and fantasy who were more than just the girlfriend. I love the female characters in She–Ra. There isn’t another show quite like it.”

What should we expect?

Group W Productions

Princess Adora has a big adventure ahead of her, and will apparently find a new family.

"She-Ra and the Princesses of Power is the story of an orphan named Adora, who leaves behind her former life in the evil Horde when she discovers a magic sword that transforms her into the mythical warrior princess She-Ra.

"Along the way, she finds a new family in the Rebellion as she unites a group of magical princesses in the ultimate fight against evil."

Who's in the show?

We actually know the full cast list already. There are a of characters in the show, and we know who will be voicing them.

Aimee Carrero as Princess Adora/She-Ra

Jordan Fisher as Seahawk

Marcus Scribner as Bow

Lorraine Toussaint as Shadow Weaver

Sandra Oh as Castaspella

Karen Fukuhara (Suicide Squad) as Glimmer

AJ Michalka (The Goldbergs) as Catra

Krystal Joy Brown (Motown: The Musical) as Netossa

Group W Productions

It seems as though most of these names are pretty familiar, but so far we don't really know what kind of animation style they are planning to make the show in.

Netflix has remade cartoons before, and they ended up changing the look of it quite a bit. Remember The Magic School Bus Rides Again? It looks super different from the original show, but I guess kids don't really know the difference.

But where is He-Man?

Group W Productions

So far there is no word on whether or not He-Man will be in the series. While people may miss him, it's also nice that they are making the show with a lot female characters.

Honestly, if he doesn't show up at all people might get mad though, so it's probably a safe bet to assume he will appear at some point, but so far they haven't revealed who would be playing him.

At least she will still have her magic sword, because really that's all that matters. Okay, she better have her horse, Spirit, too. That's also really important.

Will you be tuning into this new show? Or would you rather just rewatch the original series over and over again?

There's a lot to learn about this universe, so if you want a head start you can learn all about it here, trust me you'll want to be prepared for Skeletor.

Top 5 Movies Set in Las Vegas

There’s something about Las Vegas that has always made it a place of great fascination for filmmakers. One of the main reasons has to be the way it looks – quite unlike anywhere else on earth. With the flashing signs that can be picked out by orbiting spacecraft and the sheer investment that has gone into creating this amazing oasis in the heart of the Nevada Desert it’s a film set that’s already been built. The fact that it’s only a relatively short distance from Hollywood itself – an hour by plane – is also strongly in its favour

The Evolution of the NFL

The NFL may be the single biggest sports league in the world, but it’s been a long and winding route to reach this point. Many of the major changes that have brought us here have taken place in the last thirty years, but none of these could have happened without what had gone before. For example, while there are now 32 teams split between the National Football League and the American Football Conference, this division dates back to merger that occurred in 1970 between the NFL and its rival the American Football League. And, while there have been countless

'Beverly Hills: 90210' Revival Looks Like It Will Feature A Lot Of Familiar Faces

Who else remembers planning their entire week based on when Beverly Hills: 90210 was going to be on TV? It wasn't like we could record it easily, blank VHS tapes were pricey, so we had to watch it when it was on or miss out. Watching Brenda, Kelly, Dylan, Brandon, Donna, and everyone else hand out and get into all kinds of mayhem was the highlight of our weeks. When it ended, we were all a bit sad, but then they brought it back with a new spin-off.  The new show tried to catch that same teen spirit, but
