They Stopped Skynet, But What Has The Cast of 'Terminator 2' Been Up To Since?

Pacific Western

Terminator 2: Judgment Day is one of the defining action movies of the 90s, so much so that it's going to be re-released in theaters soon! The big question is, what have the cast of this action classic been up to in the over 25 years since it was released? You probably know something about its leading star, but some of the rest might genuinely surprise you.

Joe Morton - Myles Dyson

Pacific Western

Then: Morton had several starring roles on TV before appearing in Terminator 2 as the programmer who ultimately creates Skynet. He was a lead on shows like Grady, The Equalizer, and Equal Justice.

Now: Morton has continued to act in tons of TV shows and movies, having big roles in shows like Smallville, Law & Order, The Good Wife, Scandal, and Eureka. He also regularly appears on Broadway, and will be playing Dr. Silas Stone, the creator of the superhero Cyborg, in the upcoming Justice League.

Warner Bros.

Robert Patrick - T-1000

Pacific Western

Then: Patrick played the T-1000 fairly early in his career, and he was absolutely menacing as the liquid-metal robot who could change his shape and appearance at will.

NPR

Now: Patrick has had several small movie roles since Terminator 2, but has made a huge name for himself on TV. He's had major roles in shows like The X-Files, The Unit, Last Resort, From Dusk Til Dawn, and True Blood. He married actress Barbara Hooper while filming Terminator 2, and the two are still together with two children.

Brian Wilkins

Fun fact: his brother, Richard Patrick, was once the guitarist for the band Nine Inch Nails, and is currently the singer of rock bands Filter and Army of Anyone!

Edward Furlong - John Connor

Pacific Western

Then: Furlong made his acting debut as John Connor, the son of Sarah and her time-traveling savior from the first film, Kyle Reese. John is supposed to grow up to lead the resistance against Skynet, but when the T-800 arrives to protect him from the T-1000, he's just a punk kid.

New Line Cinema

Now: Furlong has continued acting since Terminator 2, appearing in movies like American History X and Detroit Rock City, as well as a season of CSI: New York. Unfortunately, Furlong has also had plenty of troubles. In 2013, he plead guilty to domestic violence, and entered into rehab for a decades-long substance abuse problem.

The Sun

Linda Hamilton - Sarah Connor

Pacific Western

Then: Best known as a TV actress until her appearance in the original Terminator, Hamilton came back as Sarah Conner for the sequel. This time she was a stone-cold badass whose obsession with preventing Skynet's rise landed her in a mental institution.

NY Daily News

Now: Hamilton has remained a TV actress for years, starring in series like The Line, Chuck, and Defiance. She was briefly married to Terminator director James Cameron, but the couple divorced in 1999. Hamilton has been very outspoken about her struggles with Bipolar Disorder, which she started treatment for in the 90s.

Arnold Schwarzenegger - T-800 Terminator

Pacific Western

Then: Possibly the biggest action movie star of the 80s and 90s, Ahhnold was everywhere at the time thanks to massive movies like Predator, Total Recall, and Conan the Barbarian. He reprised his role as the T-800, only this time he was here to protect the Connors, not kill them.

Storypick

Now: The Brawny Man retired from acting in the early 2000s, mainly to serve as the freaking Governor of California between 2003 and 2011! He has since returned to movies in full force, appearing in action titles like The Last Stand, The Expendables 3, and Terminator: Genisys.

A Behind-The-Scenes Look At The New Aladdin Is Here And At Least One Of Our Wishes Was Granted

We've been waiting patiently, okay mostly patiently, since Disney announced that Aladdin was being remade. The cartoon remains one of the most iconic movies of all time, and the fact that they were going to try and bring it to life with real humans instead of the animated versions was kind of concerning. We saw the first trailer a while ago, but the only character we actually saw up close was Aladdin himself. We didn't see how the Genie looked, or Jasmine, or any of the other characters. But now, Entertainment Weekly has given us all the first look at

Tim Allen Reveals The Original Plan For 'The Santa Clause' Was Way Too Dark For Disney

We've all seen The Santa Clause at least a dozen times, right? It's a Christmas classic and ever since it was released, it has become a staple in our holiday movie schedule. There's something about the movie that manages to keep that Christmas feeling without being way too over the top or corny. I mean, sure, Tim Allen literally becomes Santa, but somehow it all feels like that's totally plausible. The sequels may not have the same realistic feeling, but the original remains iconic. However, Allen just revealed that the original plan for the movie was a lot darker than
