In The 80s We Couldn't Get Enough of Him, But Where Did Emilio Estevez Go?

Emilio Estevez was one of the biggest actors of the 80s. He was a key member of the "Brat Pack" and also the iconic coach of the Mighty Ducks for three movies.

Universal Pictures

Do you remember the last time you actually saw him in anything? It's definitely been a while! Where has he gone and why did he go away? How much do you remember about Emilio Estevez anyways? Before we let you know what he is up to now, let's remember where he came from.

He is the son of Martin Sheen and brother of Charlie Sheen

He has two kids, Taylor and Paloma Estevez, with ex-girlfriend Carey Salley

He served as the best man at Tom Cruise's wedding to Mimi Rogers

He once was engaged to Demi Moore

He was supposed to play the lead in Platoon but a production delay resulted in his younger brother Charlie Sheen getting the part

Orion Pictures

He was briefly married to Paula Abdul between 1992-1994

Can you believe it has been 20 years since the last Mighty Ducks movie?

But where has he been lately?

Emilio Estevez has had an interesting life. While his acting career has had its ups and downs, he was a big part of our childhoods because he played the iconic Coach Gordon Bombay in all of The Mighty Ducks.

Buena Vista Pictures

He was doing a few cameos and TV movies over the years, but none were really super successful. He also did some voice acting, but he wasn't in the public eye as much.

In 2006 he wrote and directed the movie Bobby which he co-starred in with his ex-fiance Demi Moore and her then husband Ashton Kutcher.

He has appeared in a few cameos over the years, his last acting credit was in 2012 in the TV movie Abominable Christmas.

Currently though he is in the process of directing another movie called The Public. He will also star in it but there is no release date yet. The story is based on real events of a library taking in those who had no where to go during a winter storm.

Fun fact about Emilio Estevez, he apparently will not say anything negative about his brother in public despite several jokes made at his expense by Charlie Sheen. He also still roots for the Mighty Ducks!

Hopefully his latest movie will bring him back into the spotlight and open up a bunch of new doors for the former Brat Pack actor!

A Behind-The-Scenes Look At The New Aladdin Is Here And At Least One Of Our Wishes Was Granted

We've been waiting patiently, okay mostly patiently, since Disney announced that Aladdin was being remade. The cartoon remains one of the most iconic movies of all time, and the fact that they were going to try and bring it to life with real humans instead of the animated versions was kind of concerning. We saw the first trailer a while ago, but the only character we actually saw up close was Aladdin himself. We didn't see how the Genie looked, or Jasmine, or any of the other characters. But now, Entertainment Weekly has given us all the first look at
