12 Music Videos We Probably Shouldn't Have Been Allowed To Watch As Kids

They don't put an age rating on music videos like they do on movies, so during the glory days of MTV and music videos in general, this meant that we got to see some things that, when looking back on it, we probably shouldn't have been allowed to.

Whether it's disturbing imagery, weird themes, or sometimes so much bare skin we're amazed the video wasn't sponsored by Playboy, these 12 videos were definitely a little too mature for us to be watching as kids.

Pretty sure puberty hit us all like a ton of bricks after seeing the video for Christina Aguilera's "Dirrty"

Or if not that, then Britney's "I'm A Slave 4 U"

The members (heh) of Blink-182 weren't shy about themselves in the video for "What's My Age Again?"

DJ Eric Prydz's remix of "Call on Me" was pretty much an excuse to show girls in leotards.

N.E.R.D. were anything but subtle with the music video for "Lapdance."

The videos just get more intense from here...

The imagery and general weirdness of Nirvana's "Heart-Shaped Box" were waaaaaaaay too messed up

Madonna was always trying to be provocative, especially in the 80s.

Motorhead went the extra mile to shock and impress the heavy metal world in their video for "Killed By Death"

Benny Benassi's infectious "Satisfaction" got a music video that was... satisfying to many.

Tool's "Sober" was way too much for us as kids, because it was just so freaking creepy!

Nelly's video for "Tip Drill" is probably still the raunchiest thing ever filmed that isn't meant purely for adults.

Which of these videos do you remember watching when you were way too young?

Mike Meyers Shared An Update About 'Austin Powers 4' And It's Totally "Groovy, Baby"

When you think of the ultimate man of mystery, who do you think of? James Bond? No of course not. Ethan Hunt? Nope, not even close. The obvious answer is Austin Powers. When Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery came out back in 1997, it felt almost like there was a shift in the world. Suddenly, this ridiculous comedy became all anyone could talk about. It was unexpected, but you know what, it was worth it because the movie was awesome. Making references and jokes to the movie became common place, and you couldn't really ever say the words "one

NFL in the 90s. The Golden Years of FootballIf you can cast your mind back to what the NFL was like in the 90’s, you can perhaps remember some of the great teams and players of the time, not to mention some of the important milestones as well. Brace Yourself: The Backstreet Boys Released A New Song And Are Going On A World Tour

The Backstreet Boys have been one of the biggest bands in the country, well, the world for several decades now. After getting their start in the early 90s, they've managed to be one of the very few bands that has stuck together and continued performing. They didn't need a big reunion, because they didn't break up. Well, let's just pretend like that whole Kevin fiasco didn't happen. But anyways, they've been putting out music and performing together for 25 years now, and they have no intention of stopping. To be fair, they did warn of this two decades ago. They
