15 Awesome Disney Songs That You Will Never Stop Loving

We all watched Disney movies growing up, but what was your favorite part of them? Was it the bright colors? The jokes? The scary-ass villains (probably not)? Well, if you're anything like me, what you remember best is the songs, and in particular, these 15 were the best the House of Mouse had to offer.

(Note: the picks are limited to one song per movie, otherwise it just would've been the soundtracks to Beauty and the Beast and Aladdin).

Beauty and the Beast - "Gaston"

Everyone's favorite musclebound douchebag gets his own theme song about how "great" he is, and it's infectiously catchy.

Pocahontas - "Colors of the Wind"

The movie definitely has a lot of problems, but the music in it wasn't one of them.

Mulan - "I'll Make A Man Out of You"

Real talk: this song is a must-have for everybody's gym playlist, regardless of your gender.

The Little Mermaid - "Under The Sea"

Picking just one song from this classic is tough, but for my money, Sebastian's ode to the ocean is as good as it gets.

The Jungle Book - "Bare Necessities"

Because sometimes you just gotta keep things simple, y'know?

A Goofy Movie - "Stand Out"

If you haven't belted this song out way too loud at some point, you didn't grow up in the 90s (and are possibly dead inside).

The Hunchback of Notre Dame - "Hellfire"

Easily the most mature, sinister song that Disney's ever come up with, what other kid's movie has a corrupt judge singing about condemning a gypsy to Hell?

There's even more great songs coming up!

Aladdin - "A Whole New World"

Again, too many great songs to pick from this movie, but sometimes you gotta go with the classic.

The Lion King - "Circle of Life"

Easily the best opening theme not just from any Disney movie, but possibly any movie ever. Sir Elton John still ends all of his shows with this classic.

Robin Hood - "Phony King of England"

Just don't sing this if you're walking through Buckingham Palace. I don't think they'd appreciate it too much.

The Great Mouse Detective - "The World's Greatest Criminal Mind"

It's Vincent Price singing about how evil he is, what else do you want?!

Mary Poppins - "Sister Suffragette"

Picking a favorite song from this movie is like trying to pick a favorite child: we all have one, but you don't want to admit it.

The Many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh - "Heffalumps and Woozles"

Can we talk for a second about how Disney made a nightmare sequence that's basically Lovecraftian horror? Like, the hell guys?

Hercules - "Zero to Hero"

I dare you not to get this stuck in your head for the rest of the day after listening to it. I DARE you.

Emperor's New Groove - "Perfect World"

Because this movie is great and so is its theme song.

What's your favorite Disney song?

Brace Yourself: The Backstreet Boys Released A New Song And Are Going On A World Tour

The Backstreet Boys have been one of the biggest bands in the country, well, the world for several decades now. After getting their start in the early 90s, they've managed to be one of the very few bands that has stuck together and continued performing. They didn't need a big reunion, because they didn't break up. Well, let's just pretend like that whole Kevin fiasco didn't happen. But anyways, they've been putting out music and performing together for 25 years now, and they have no intention of stopping. To be fair, they did warn of this two decades ago. They

It's been months and months of a "will they or won't they" debate, but we've finally got some concrete details about the Spice Girls reunion tour. It feels like every time they appear on a talk show or make a comment on Twitter they've been contradicting what the others have said, but now it's official, there's no going back, the Spice Girls are going on tour. Well, sort of. There is one catch, Victoria Beckham is not going to be there. We all suspected it for a while, as she herself had said that she didn't want to go on

The Tragic Story Behind Pearl Jam's "Jeremy", Now Those Involved Reveal What Happened

Pearl Jam is one of those iconic 90s bands that everyone remembers hearing. They were edgier than the popular music, instead fitting in alongside Nirvana in the grunge style of music that was becoming popular. Like Nirvana, Pearl Jam originated from Seattle. The band has remained extremely successful in the years since its inception, but one song they wrote definitely brought the band to the attention of a lot more people. In 1992, their song "Jeremy" was released as a part of their debut album. The song was their first foray into more story-driven lyrics, but a lot of people

After 15 Years Apart, BBMak Are Finally "Back Here" Again

As the 90s faded out, and the new millennium rushed forward, a lot changed. Clothes became very shiny, hair became excessively straightened, and people started to get cellphones. There was one thing that didn't change right away though, and that was that boy bands still reigned supreme. Backstreet Boys and *Nsync were obviously the two biggest groups who were constantly in a battle for the crown, but there was an entire league of boy bands that had a whole bunch of hits that a lot of us were completely obsessed with. BBMak was one of those bands. While they may

Debbie Gibson Opens Up About Being A Teen Star, And One Fan's "Dying Wish"

Debbie Gibson first came into our lives in the mid 80s with her song "Only In My Dreams." The singer/songwriter released the single in 1986, and was signed immediately. She recorded her first album in only four weeks, and managed to make her way onto the Top 40 charts. Gibson would later become the youngest artist to write, produce, and perform a Billboard number-one single, which she earned for her song "Foolish Beat." She was one of the biggest names in pop music in the 80s, and her bowler hats and rolled up jeans made her the style icon
