Grab Your Platform Shoes! The Spice Girls Reunion Is Confirmed!

Exciting news 90's kids! The Spice Girls have confirmed that they will be doing a little something to celebrate 20 years of girl power. They released a video on YouTube back in July that hinted at the impending reunion, but on Sept 8th Mel B put all the speculation to rest by explaining what they have planned on the Late Late Show with James Corden. It isn't a full reunion, but Scary, Baby and Ginger didn't want to let the anniversary pass by without some kind of party.

Lucky for us James Corden asked the questions we all have been wondering. Will all five girls be there? Where will they start? When will this magical event take place?

So who will be taking part in the little "something" as Mel B. describes it? Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and Mel B all plan on gathering together to perform and celebrate the 20th anniversary of their first hit single "Wannabe".

Mel B explains that because they are a British band they intend on starting in London and then "work their way around to wherever else wants to see it". I can tell you now Mel, if you go everywhere that wants to see it you will not stop touring until your next 20th anniversary.

The fact that it is only the three of them is luckily not for any controversial reasons even though Mel jokes that it is because "the other two bitches didn't want to do it". She laughs it off by explaining that Mel C. is currently working on her own solo album and Victoria is too busy with her fashion line but both fully support the three girls in their celebration.

James Corden takes the opportunity to throw his name into the hat to fill in for the missing singers. He also mentions they should try to get Adele to join them after her excellent version of Wannabe in her edition of Carpool Karaoke.

She never addressed the very important issue of when this will begin, so keep your eyes out on Twitter and Facebook for more details. For now you can just enjoy the crazy exciting news that they have officially confirmed everything. Here is the clip of Mel B. giving the details about the upcoming reunion.

And if you haven't seen it already, check out the video they released back in July to hint at the amazing reunion!
