10 Nintendo Characters Who Would Throw The Most Awesome Beach Party
Summer's here, and you know what that means: it's beach party time! Nothing beats some fun in the sun with your best friends.
But what if your friends were straight out of Nintendo games? What would that party look like? In our opinion, pretty awesome actually! Especially thanks to these 10 characters and what they'd do for the party.
1) Yoshi
This lovable goofball is guaranteed to be the life of the party, between his sheer cuteness and his willingness to give free rides on his back. Plus, if there's any fruit-bearing trees around, he's got snacks locked down too!
2) Squirtle
The cutest little turtle monster in existence, you can count on him to make sure everyone stays cool with his Water Gun move. He can even use Bubblebeam to cover the beach in awesome bubbles, and who doesn't love bubbles?
3) F.L.U.D.D.
Nothing says summer like a good old-fashioned water gun fight, and unlike some people, we play to win. F.L.U.D.D. can not only spray massive quantities of water, but can turn into a jetpack in case you need to make a quick getaway. Just make sure he doesn't run out of water or you're gonna hit the sand REAL fast.
4) Starfy
What's time spent on the ocean without some ocean wildlife? Starfy's so adorable it hurts, plus his different costumes mean he can adapt to anything you need him to do. He's the best little helper you could want!
5) Donkey Kong
Any good beach party needs some good tunes to accompany it, and nobody brings the noise quite like our old pal DK. Whether it's his massive boombox or multiple sets of bongo drums, he'll keep the party going well into the night.

6) Inklings
These colorful squid kids basically embody summer, and their paint gun wars would make for a great excuse to rinse off afterwards. Just be careful, they get competitive.
7) Prince Sidon
Let's face it, you can't have some kind of beach shindig without there being at least one lovable showoff, and Prince Sidon definitely falls into that category. He'll swim circles around you, but he'll also stop to make sure you're okay, so we can't help but like the guy.
8) Enguarde
When you wanna go diving and find some cool sunken treasures (or just more fish, y'know, whichever), what better way to get there than by riding a giant swordfish? Enguarde's more than happy to bring people along for the ride, and he can even keep predators away with his giant nose.
9) Lapras
Wanna go for a ride but don't like diving underwater? Fret not! Lapras always has room on its back to take any partygoers on a leisurely cruise around the ocean. What could be better?
10) Tetra (And Her Crew)
Nobody knows how to party quite like pirates, and these guys are some of the funniest you'll ever meet. Plus, if the beach closes down, you can just move things onto their ship! Who's up for shooting some cannons?!
