9 Actors Who Appeared On 'The Dating Game' Before They Were Famous

The Dating Game was one of the best TV shows to watch when you were younger. For some reason, watching people awkwardly try to impress others was super enjoyable for us. As it turns out, a lot of our favorite actors made their one of their first appearances on the iconic game show!

ABC

A lot of actors who would go on to star in some of our favorite movies and television shows were guests on the show either early in their careers, or long before they got their big break. Getting your start in Hollywood is a tricky thing, so having the opportunity to showcase your personality on a game show was a pretty excellent option. Check out which of your favorite stars made their way on to the set of one of the most famous game shows from the past!

John Ritter

ABC

The Three's Company star went on the game show when he was only 19. He was charming and goofy and actually won the episode!

Steve Martin

ABC

The comedian actually appeared on the show more than once. He was on two separate times, winning both episodes!

Sally Fields

ABC

Before she would go on to play some enormously famous roles, the young actress would try to find love all the way back in 1966.

Farrah Fawcett

ABC

She got her choice between the three bachelors, but it quickly derailed into a huge fight at the end of the episode. Luckily, that was all done as an April Fool's Day joke and the other contestants were stuntmen.

Michael Jackson

ABC

He was already a huge star as a member of the Jackson Five, but this young kid got to go on the show to interview some potential girlfriends back in 1972.

Even some of your favorite action stars were on this classic game show...

Tom Sellek

ABC

A mustache-free Tom Selleck is always a strange sight. But I guess it worked well for him because he was on the show in 1965 and 1967.

Bob Saget

ABC

He was on the show twice, winning one of the episodes. Although he did reveal he didn't get to go on his prize winning trip to Guatemala because there were some issues in the country at the time.

Suzanne Somers

ABC

She got to try and pick her dream man from three bachelors, and she ended up with fellow actor,  B. G. Fisher. They got to go to the Bahamas together!

Arnold Schwarzenegger

ABC

Very early in his career, Schwarzenegger appeared on the classic game show. He ended up winning a trip to Hawaii!
