The Woman Who Voiced Basically Our Entire Childhood Just Died At Age 99
There are a lot of cartoons that we all watched over and over when we were kids even though they came out decades before we were born.
The Flintstones, Rocky & Bullwinkle, and The Bugs Bunny & Tweety Show, were a big part of our lives when we were kids and honestly still are to this day. One person actually had a hand in basically every one of your childhood favorites and while you might not know her name, you have absolutely heard her voice.
June Foray is a legend in the voice acting community. Her life is full of amazing accomplishments and characters that you absolutely loved when you were a kid. Unfortunately she passed away on July 26th, 2017 at the age of 99, after a 71-year long career. Even though she is gone, the characters she created will live on forever.
You probably didn't realize just how many characters the "First Lady of Voice Actors" had done, but here is just a small sampling of her most iconic creations.
Lucifer in Cinderella
Mermaid / Squaw in Peter Pan
Rocky the Flying Squirrel
Granny / Witch Hazel - The Bugs Bunny Show (and every other Bugs Bunny project with Granny or Witch Hazel in it)
Granny / Ma / Secretary in The Flintstones
Cindy Lou Who in How The Grinch Stole Christmas
Usula in George of the Jungle (the original cartoon)
