Your Favorite Pokémon Games Are Coming Back To The 3DS
<div><p>Ever since the late 90s, Pokémon has been an unstoppable force that we've all fallen into at some point. </div><p></p><p>With Pokémon's 20th anniversary beginning last year in Japan, Nintendo's had us caught up in Pokémania all over again. Not only were the newest entries, <em>Pokémon Sun</em> and <em>Pokémon Moon</em> released on the Nintendo 3DS, but we also saw a re-release of the games that started it all: <em>Pokémon Red</em>, <em>Pokémon Blue</em>, and <em>Pokémon Yellow: Special Pikachu Edition</em>. </p><div><figure><amp-img src="https://legacy.throwbacks.com/content/images/2017/06/2993836-pokemon-red-blue-yellow-3ds-nintendo.png" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img></figure></div><p>Best of all, these downloadable versions had wireless capabilities added. </div><p></p><p>These two games, despite being over 15 years old, are considered by many longtime fans to be the best in the series. With not only a new world and new Pokémon to discover, but also the entirety of <em>Red</em> and <em>Blue </em>included as well, <em>Gold </em>and <em>Silver</em> give you almost too much game to handle! Add in new features like breeding Pokemon and hatching baby Pokemon from eggs, it's easy to see why people love it so much.</p><div><figure><amp-img src="https://legacy.throwbacks.com/content/images/2017/06/pokemongs2.jpg" title="" alt="" height="9" width="16" layout="responsive"></amp-img></figure></div><p>Well, it looks like Nintendo was listening to these requests.</p><p>During a special Pokémon-themed Nintendo Direct today, the company has announced that <em>Gold</em> and <em>Silver</em> will be hitting the 3DS eShop on September 17th! They will have the same wireless features as <em>Red</em>, <em>Blue</em> and <em>Yellow</em>, and now people won't have to worry about keeping the save batteries in their old cartridges alive!</p><div><amp-youtube height="9" width="16" layout="responsive" data-videoid="lv2nnRtfCFI"></amp-youtube></div><p>Now we can relive all the hard decisions we had to make in this game as kids.
